Vacation Weekend in Utah - Day 2      Saturday, July 14, 2007 - 8:11 PM

Today was such a nice and relaxing day.  We slept in very late and then spent the day hanging around the cabin.  I did a puzzle that I found in the dining area.  I was a little disappointed to find that there where missing pieces after the entire thing was put together.  I am not really sure why I was upset about this.  I almost felt like it was a big waste of time since it could never be “completed”.  This was so silly.  I had a great time doing it and as Dad stated later I should be satisfied that I had all pieces that I did have in the correct place and truly I was.

What a good life when the biggest worry in a day is an uncompleted puzzle!  LOL

Right before the sun went down Ash and I went for a walk around the property and to leave a note at Cabin #3 that we were in #2 since that is were Mom and Dad would show up and find it locked up.  It was nice outside but boy was I out of shape!  I was huffing and puffing after only a short amount of time.  I need to really exercise a lot more.  Ash has been doing so well with his exercising and training for the police dept. and I definitely need to step things up a bit.  For dinner Ash grilled us some gigantic hamburgers and I made the veggies.  We did not use buns since our diet right now consists of no white bread but it was so delicious.  After dinner we played more Yahtzee.  I love that game.  Grandma Loretta introduced me to it in April, it’s awesome!  Mom and Dad arrived around 11pm.  I am glad they got there o.k.  Kona and Stitch were the first ones I saw.  It was Stitch’s first time up there but Kona was no stranger to the woods/property and I am sure she will show him the ropes.  Mom and Dad didn’t unpack as we figured we would move over to Cabin #1 in the morning.
